After Elizabeth Garner, or Lisa, discovers a helpful tool she calls the memory journal, her life ultimately changes. But did it shift for the good or was the good side bad and the bad is what's meant to be? After her 13th birthday she learns how to manipulate peoples' minds for mostly the better, and aids them on the way to choosing the right decision. She had moved from school to school her whole life and has parents that are always busy with their "clients of manipulation" in the real world, while she is stuck with students in schools all over England. Once she enrolls in Norwich High School she meets Jay Omelid, whom she thinks she can trust. She will soon come to find that there aren't always the good choices to be made in the world and she may think she can help anyone, but darkness still lurks in the most obvious place; next to her.
