[OLD] [NOT MEANT TO ROMANTICIZE DEPRESSION OR MENTAL ILLNESS. SIMPLY A TROPE.] Tom isn't your average teen. But then again, what makes a teen average? His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. But turns out my last words we're utterly useless. How I got here? Trust me I don't know, I was sipping the liquid from my red cup the first second and the next thing I know is I'm running towards him. ••• Well, Juliet Evans have always hated the football team due to the trauma they inflicted on her brother- they outed him from his closet, if you know what I mean. Ever since that day they have been harassing him physically and emotionally. As his twin, she took it upon herself to protect him- if she had to swing a fist, you bet your asses she would! Here enter Luke Rivers, he was a part of the "No Brainy Bunch" as Juliet liked to call the Football team. Sure he stayed in the sidelines and watched his friends do horrible things- that's what Juliet hates the most, the bystanders who never bat an eyelash when it comes to abuse. He was automatically an asshole by association. Because after-all, Birds of the same feather flocks together right?

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
