"What will I gain?" He whispers his hand gently stroking my arm sending chills up my spine. I squint and hold back the tears. "Anything." I manage to croak out. "Anything at all, just... Just save them." His hand lifts and it's at that moment, everything changed. Hi I'm Emmer, my parents died in a car crash in 1914, well almost died. I sold my soul to the devil to have my little brother Jackson grow up with loving parents, this, is a demons tale, and that's not exactly what happened.

Memories

Before you read the summary, I want you to know that this isn't a story about paranormal beings falling in love, with each other or ordinary people. It is about the horrifying and unusual consequences caused be love. "How?" You may wonder...well I guess you'll just have to read and find out. "There was still something there that rang so familiar inside of him, in a place he had long forgotten about. But as a word hangs from one's lips at precise time it's needed or a person is overcome with an overwhelming sense of déjà vu, he just couldn't figure out where he had seen her before. Before this city. Before the last city. Before the city before that. Maybe even before Hell itself." A man's unusual beginning leaves him empty and without a memory. All he knows is that he doesn't belong here, but there is literally no way in Hell he would ever go back to where he came from. Will he choose to be who he once was? Or risk never regaining any of his memories ever again? I was also wondering if you could give me some feedback on the story! It's my first full story I've ever written and I was wondering what's working, what isn't making sense. If you could help me out I'd be really grateful!
