A short story of a thousand words about a man who was obsessed with the stars.
This is my entry for the ScienceFiction contest here on Wattpad. It is the first time I'm writing a short story after so many months spent laboring over a book that still hasn't surfaced. I haven't written a lot of stuff, but I still like to think I can put a sentence or two together.
The story is science-fiction and arises from an image prompt of a galaxy cluster positioned in such a way that it looks like a face that's smiling (see the media attached to the story). It got my otaku mind thinking, and in a few minutes of thoughtful brooding, I came up with this idea. After fleshing it out, I started writing it.
It feels really good to actually write again, no matter how it came out. I've been in the throes of self-doubt for a long, long time; so long that I stopped critiquing stories (if I can't write them, who am I to criticize them?) and ultimately stopped reading. So I'm hoping that with this story, I might actually have broken through that wall. I might finally finish that book. (Though it's more like start)

No Man Left Behind
An intelligent entity by the name of Unilife captures the attention of an ancient alien race, who must decide whether or not to make first contact with the human race in order to stop this fast-learning, genocidal entity . . . And after encountering the entity themselves, Humanity must decide between fighting Unilife to the bitter end, or fleeing the Milky Way Galaxy altogether. This short story is a precursor to other writings to come. Essentially, I'm using my experience from writing this as a springboard for future planned projects. Sidenote: this project was originally drafted in Google Docs. For some reason, when copying over to Wattpad, Wattpad converts all the em dashes to regular hyphens. Be on the lookout for that, as it completely slaughters the meaning of certain sentences and phrases which use em dashes. "...I don't want to be with you", I sigh and even though I am crying, they are not tears of sadness, but relief. "What do you mean?". "I DO NOT LOVE YOU AND NEVER WILL!", I cried. "But I want to be with you. I want to have kids. I want to rule the omniverse by your side. I want you". "I'm sorry, but I don't. The voice in my head says no". Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
My Child's Father is an Alien
[COMPLETED ✔] Amelia was all alone on earth. Suffering from hunger, thirst, and pain. She waits for her to die. The most she had been regret in her life is not having a family. Being abandoned by her parents since she was a baby, and no one wants to take her in. Sigh... Dying without no one for you to think is sucks! Soon, she died. However she awake with human voice. Her body is too weak to move even her eyes can't open but she can hear clearly. Eh? What? I'm pregnant!!!??? Amelia is very happy finally she has her own family! With her own blood! But wait? What??? My child's father is a monster? What? An alien? No! No! No! It can't be worse!!! He is a fu**ing ZERG??? ... "Congratulation! You have triplets!" Amelia is crying with happiness. Soon she will have a big family! However her cry became heavy, she doubt that she can handle this pregnancy! She look at the baby's father, such a handsome face, my baby will be very handsome and beautiful! But!!! She looks at his tail. Its long and big! The galaxies and universes have been opened, and all the intelligent beings residing in them have been connected and unified with each other. Now, hundreds of otherworldly species live in relative harmony with the one another. The unification was good for many species, but for some species, the change caused unexpected extinction. As a team of the Conservation of Species Committee investigates a mysterious decrease in the population of a robotic species, they stumble upon something that could potentially result in the destruction of the entire Pentaverse. This is not your average Wattpad story about how the 'bad boy meets the good girl'. This book is about a series of mysteries that begin to unfold as you read and travel through space with a group of unsuspecting aliens. This story will make you laugh, it will shock you, surprise you, and it will leave you hungry for more-all the way to the last word. Be aware, there are some adult themes in this book including drinking, swearing, love making, death, and murder.
