Fifteen-year-old Luna Belle has always lived in her brother's shadow. She has been bullied in school for the way she looks. She has noticed the judgemental glances when teachers whisper about how she cannot meet her brother's standards. She has pretended to be not-so-good at something to avoid attention, to avoid expectations.

Fifteen-year-old Ashton Hunter has fallen in love. He has tried desperately to forget the person he fell in love with. He has tried coffee and hated it. He has had an emotionally abusive father in the past. He has bullied people to get a specific person's attention.
