Once a famous inventor is now openly mocked but his daughter didn't believe them, she thought her father was a genius. But after his untimely death her faith in her father is tested when she realizes he might have been working with notorious pirates. Curious about her father's death and simply looking to get out of London, Claire convinces the captain of pirates to take her along when he leaves in exchange for her father's biggest secret. The only problem is she doesn't quite know what he was hiding. A story of family love, adventure, betrayal, and yes some romance.
