It was unexpected.

He didn't expect to fall for the boy with wild curls and emerald eyes. He didn't expect to fall at all, swearing off of relationships after the many failed attempts, but the boy's smile was captivating and talking to him felt so easy. He made him feel lighter than he had in years; taking off a weight he never knew was on his shoulders.

He didn't expect to fall, but he did, and that changed his whole entire world.

Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles. Two boys who have hopeless crushes on one another, despite never having a conversation. Their lives are far from perfect, and what makes it even worse, is that they don't have each other. Louis has taken notice to the boy with curly hair who works at the bakery. He is completely smitten with Harry and when he finds out that the feelings may be returned, he can barely believe it. However, Louis is scared. Everything in his life is horrible, and Louis is afraid that if he tries to get with Harry, he will be ripped away from him. Harry found the small, blue-eyed boy running through his mind constantly. He always knew that he was gay, but was never one to be open about it, mainly because he craved to be accepted. Harry wants nothing more than to be with Louis, yet the fear of judgement holds him back. It's obvious to everyone that these two boys were meant for each other. But Louis and Harry are afraid of losing everything. The sad truth is, not everyone gets their happily ever after. ---------- WARNING: Mentions of rape, mentions of self-harm, abuse, swearing, and a whole lot of gayness. There was a long moment where Harry didn't actually think Louis was going to answer; where he feared he would be sitting here forever, waiting for this boy to share with him what was so terrible that he was crying, borderline sobbing, on what might've been the most incredible night of Harry's life. And then he answered, and if it was even possible, Harry felt even sadder. "You're it, Harry. You're the best part of me. And I can't fucking leave. Not like this." in which harry and louis are inseparable trouble makers who think they have everything figured out, but as it turns out, they don't, and they have one summer left together until louis goes to university.
