Deku is known for being kind, sensitive and happy. But no one knows that he can ice skate. He's been ice skating since he was eight. He is now a professional but no one in the school, UA, knows this information. When he started ice skating, he found it was also helping him with one of his negative emotions. Depression. Since he collected this information, he's always ice skating. And he enjoys it. But he can't hold these secrets for long.

He suffered through abuse, he suffered through pain, for years he was lonely and depressed. Those memories just keep flooding back to him, he did his best to keep himself mentally stable. Sometime after the provisional hero license exam he got abused by his father in an ally for failing his test.
