Laura is walking towards new employment and an independent life as a woman, but she makes a mistake as she travels through a forest rumoured to be full of magical beings, and not always nice ones. Will she ever find her place in the world? Does she even want to? The magic of the forest is strong enough to lure even a strong soul in, a young girl doesn't have much to hope for in a place full of ancient entities just waiting to cause trouble.

I should add that this is not entirely faithful to original folklore, but many of the beings in the story are either from myths I read when I grew up, or based on mythological creatures and then I've added my own imagination.
