The Alphabet Lovers

These are 26 short stories about 26 different men that I have had some form of intimate relationship with throughout my life. These stories are all based on true events. All the images placed within the stories and on the book covers are also mine unless stated.

The names and some of the situations have been altered slightly to maintain anonymity but the stories all stem from my reality. They took place in different parts of the world and at different stages of my life between 18 - 30. And although the stories are about intimacy and romance, there are also some ugly parts that very much reflect the nuanced aspects of gay relationships.

I wanted to share these chapters of my life because for the longest time, I felt like I was navigating all of this on my own and felt like no one would ever understand me. However, I came to realize that there are many other queer men out there that could relate to these experiences. My hope is that by sharing my stories, it will make others feel comfortable enough to share their stories and thereby enriching the anthology of gay literature that we so desperately need.

We often hear about the male and female gaze, which always struck me as pushing heteronormativity, so I want to explore the gay gaze damn it!
