What would you do if one day you found out that the supernatural creatures you had read about in books were actually real? Well, that's exactly what happens with Riley, "ordinary" girl living in the small Massachusetts town of Southbrooke. She's a massive bookworm, particularly when it comes to books containing vampires, werewolves, and hunters. Her world gets turned upside-down with the arrival of Christian Peters and his "clan." Riley learns that those closest to her are not exactly what they seem and that she is more special than anyone realizes. The supernatural and the real world will clash, forcing the hunted to become the hunters.
