Cassidy Manilow is a small-city kid with a PhD in Astrophysics and a possibility of going to the first manned mission to Mars, whenever they get that going. But her space travelling plans are trumped when she runs-LITERALLY runs- into a girl in a derelict Kroger's with a dying wish and a Misfits T-shirt (and she'd do anything for a fan of a decent rock band).
Goose is dying. She has known that ever since she learned what dying was. She was almost numb to the fact when her doctors said that because of the surprisingly rapid progression of her extremely rare condition, she likely has about a month left to live before it will strangle her to death. But she is not going to let those few days go to waste. She has a dream of showing people the infinite beauty amidst the hecticness and imperfection of life. She wants her city to see the stars, the REAL stars, and she knows just who can make it happen.
Stargaze is a story about life, death, love, science, space, and appreciating all the little things.

When at school he acts like the biggest, most arrogant jerk she had ever known. But Winter has a secret, she knows Caspian very well. He may not acknowledge her at school but every afternoon he was all hers. He was the best friend that any girl could wish for. He was sweet, kind and funny. He never let the fact she had no powers bother him then at all. With the arrival of Zeke Worthington her life became in disarray. He understood her; he knew what it felt like to be the outsider. He told her he had come from a place where he was misunderstood too. Zeke seemed immensely happy to meet Winter, even though he befriended Caspian too. Why Caspian had a problem with it, Winter doesn't understand. It wasn't like he went out of his way to be friends with her during school hours. Even as Winter and Zeke get closer, Caspian becomes increasingly unhappy and agitated with her. Rose had everything a girl could wish for, she had a loving mom, and best friends who were always by her side and one thing she loved the most is horses. But it all came crashing down when her mom got in a car accident on her way to see her ride. *1 month later* She moves in with her dad who she hasn't seen in 10 years since he left when she was 7 years old and she's hated him ever since. When she gets there she wants nothing to do with him. Still hurting from her mom's accident and thinking it was her fault her mom ended up dying and now to go on top of that she has to live with the dad that abandoned her all those years ago. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. Before the fall of Earth humanity built a great colony ship, ten thousand of the colonist left Earth for a hundred year journey to Gillespie. They came from all over the Earth leaving a planet knowing they would never see another in their lifetime. The Ark is a rotating cylinder the size of a large island with its own train system. It's divided into three main sections, the city, the framlands, and the Lowers. The people are divided into three groups as well, Uppers, Middles and Lowers. Uppers are made of elite scientist, Astro-crops, bureaucrats they made up about 3% of the population. The Middles are are the farmers, the guard, teachers, doctors, the food processors, clothes makers and of course the mechanical maintenance workers. They make-up the 97% of the 10,000 counted citizens. The lowers are criminals and children born to un-paired parents. They live separated from the middles and Upper. In lowers you work in water reclamation or in one of the fish farms that supply protein to the ship. In the year 2149 Dylan De Rovia is trying to wrap her head around the idea that in two year's she'll be paired. That they call marriage on the Ark. Pairing is good most who are paired do end-up staying together because while genetics play good part in determining a match so does personality. Some people choose to use spend this time having a good time with as many partners as possible. Dylan however, vowed that she would never fall in love with anyone before pairing. The universe had other plans however, when Dylan learns that she'll pair with an Upper named Kyive Sinclar life gets more complicated than ever. Falling in love is hard enough falling in love in space that the story.Complete

Everything was going "well" until her real identity was uncovered and her life went back to the way it was before...until the star boy suddenly transfers to her school.
