The Hermits going about their daily life when some of them find strange items that they can wear and choose to do so. A new Hermit appears and he seems to have amnesia and doesn't know or remember anything about himself nor how he got access to their world. Now he has to live in a new world with no memories and a strange red and blue wristband that he refuses to take of for some strange reason. One night while he sleeps, he enters The Grayscale World, a mystery dimension that looks exactly like the Hermitcraft world, except everything's in a gray color scheme, and finds a ghost figure who happens to know him but refuses to tell him anything about him.

~The hermits had huddled around a large hole in the ground. At the bottom of the hole sat two people. One had bright orange hair with a face full of freckles and what seemed to be antlers sticking out of her hair. The other was facing away from Grian and was wearing a plain grey jacket with the hood pulled up over their head. They turned and met the builders gaze and time seemed to slow to a stop. Grian couldn't believe what he was seeing. He was standing face to face with a dead person~ Grian left Evo and joined the watchers, whom he then betrayed and in turn, they destroyed Evo and everyone in it. But that's not where the story ends, because when season 8 of hermitcraft rolls around, Grian is shocked to see a familiar face. But what he doesn't know is that this familiar face is there for a reason. Because the watchers wanted Grian back. "shut it watcher, we know your tricks." their youngest hermit who joined the server had left their server after staying a week. He was overpowered by his fellow hermits who had accused him of murder. "grian! that's grian!" the hermits who fled to find their youngest soon faced a replica of the shopping district. it was clearly deserted, yet somehow full of life. the missing hermit who they saw on a random window sill lay his head on a table, in each seat was an armour stand with different positions and different heads. this was his life for over 3 years.
