It was supposed to be a special day on the small Minecraft server that 5 close friends, Moon, Vuk, Anxious, Lizzel, and Oli, shared together. The new 1.16 Nether update had finally arrived and they were finally going to update the server and reset the Nether. But the update didn't go as smoothly as it was supposed to, and now their lives are turned upsidedown. Now one of the five is seemingly possessed by an unremovable mask and the others must work together to get their friend back and stop whoever was behind this all before their lives, their world, and everyone else's worlds get shattered.
*Disclaimer: This story was inspired by the actual private Minecraft server that I'm a member of alongside some of my friends, so the characters in this book are actual real-life people even though they might not be written as accurately cuz I'm not that good of a writer so please don't be mean to them.*
