Ophelia loves the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She's seen all of the movies(multiple times) and has even gone to midnight premieres for several of them. The only thing she does not like is the fates of some of her favorite characters, such as Loki, Natasha, and Tony. She really wants to somehow be able to change what happened to them but knows that there is no way she is able to. Until the day she finds out she can. Somehow, Ophelia winds up living in the MCU. And she is determined to not only save the universe, but make sure that the characters she loves aware safe and alive as well. But how will she accomplish it when she's a powerless human? Or is she?

PLEASE NOTE: While this story will be going mostly by the movies, there will be some differences that I will be making. Mainly things that will help the story and a couple things I wished had happened differently. So please keep that in mind while reading. And obviously, there's going to be MANY spoilers. So you have been warned.

ALSO: I own none of the characters or the MCU, they belong to Marvel. I only own Ophelia and Dahlia.

In this alternate universe, Loki is sent to Midgard after the fight over the Aether. The Avengers question the Allfather's sanity, but agree they would rather have Loki where they can keep an eye on him. So, after some extensive remodeling, the Avengers Tower and neighboring facilities are now an extensive training ground with everything they'll need to reform the once proud Asgardian prince. Thor is hopeful. He wants the brother he thought Loki was back. Clint (Hawkeye) is waiting for a reason to exact some much deserved revenge. Steve (Captain America) has hope that even the most hardened of evil doers can be changed for the better. No one quite knows what Natasha (Black Widow) is thinking. Tony (Iron Man) resents having to share his tower with a psychopath. Bruce (Hulk) did not fly away to Sakar. He's brooding away in his own private wing. Scott (Antman) is under house arrest... at the tower. Wanda (Scarlet Witch) is still mourning her brother while nurturing a still very naive Vision. (Neither are living in the tower. Will only play small, fleeting parts in this story.) Dr Strange refuses to move into the tower. After all, it is more important to keep up with his work at the Sanctum. Peter (Spiderman) is spending his summer at the Tower, much to the dismay of Aunt May, who knows how dangerous this is, but does not know Loki has returned. Sam (Falcon) will follow Cap to the ends of the earth, but refuses to jump off the proverbial bridge just because Cap's doing it. Bucky (Winter Soldier) is trying to atone for his past misdeeds, while learning what exactly they were, but is living in Wakanda with T-challa (Black Panther) so neither will be playing a large role in this story. Then there's Aite. She's new. She's the Greek goddess of mischief, delusion, folly, and ruin. You'd think her and Loki would be the best of friends... Not so much.

I took his hands in mine frantically, causing his eyes to meet mine. "Then hand over the Tesseract and come home, Loki. Please." "I can't." He pulled away. "If I'm not allowed rule on Asgard, then I'll rule here." My eyebrows knitted together in desperation. "Loki, pleas-" My plea was cut shot as a burst of energy and the distinctive clang of metal on metal pushed me over into the god of mischief. We stumbled backwards until I laid on his chest and he grunted from the sudden impact. "Thor." I cursed under my breath. "Sorry..." I began lifting myself off of his body. I narrowed my gaze and quickly stood to rush into Thor's aid, ignoring his dejected expression. I was about to leap off the cliff side when I heard four words that had me frozen in my place unlike anything my powers could do. "I still love you." ___________________________________________ (Y/N) Ísveig thought she'd made peace with Loki's death. She couldn't bring herself to forgive him for everything he had done, obviously, but she was finally beginning to live the life she always wanted. She was no longer deemed future queen of Asgard, and she was slowly learning to control her amplified ice powers. That is, until the god of mischief decides to attack New York and steal the Tesseract. Now (Y/N) must again face her inner demons as her powers quickly deem too much for her to handle, and all her feelings for Loki resurface even though she forces herself to see him as the enemy. Only time will tell if her, along with the Avengers, can put a stop to his schemes, or if New York will ultimately be engulfed by a thick layer of snow, ice, and death. ___________________________________________ BOOK 2 in the Loki x (Y/N) Ísveig series. Check out Frost Giants (Loki x Reader) first! DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own any of Marvel's The Avengers characters, plot, or world; by no means am I profiting from this. I only own (Y/N) Ísveig.

Mischief's Match

87 parts Complete Mature

*mature for violence An immortal with extraordinary powers never expected her life to unravel after an encounter with the Avengers. Having lived for centuries, she had seen it all-but nothing could prepare her for the disarray of living under the same roof as the Avengers. As chaos and conflict follow the team wherever they go, she finds herself reluctantly involved in their battles and struggles, caught between her own desire for peace and the constant whirlwind of heroism. But things take an unexpected turn when Loki, the God of Mischief, is brought into the fold, living under strict supervision at the Avengers' compound. Once their bitter enemy, now a prisoner and "rehabilitant" of sorts, Loki is as dangerous as he is charming. Despite her initial wariness, the immortal and Loki find themselves crossing paths more often than either would like. The tension between them, at first subtle and barely noticeable, quickly becomes a constant source of friction, and despite their differences, a begrudging respect begins to form. In a world that never seems to slow down, their evolving dynamic becomes one of the more unpredictable-and oddly comforting-elements of their new lives. But even as they learn to tolerate one another, they'll both have to confront what it means to trust again-and whether they can find a way to coexist without the world falling apart around them.
