Atlie is a member of a government organisation. Well, an UNDERCOVER government organisation.
Her world, despite all the blatantly fake news and official statements, is truly a cracked vase just waiting to collapse on itself.
So, she joined the agency with hopes to 'clean the streets of its filth', though things didn't exactly go to plan. Instead of being an assassin, a.k.a legal murderer, she was instead a scout, in charge of monitering and reporting information to the Documenters.
But enough is enough and now, a year after her employment, she aims to do the work hands-on. Afterall, this dystopia won't fix itself.
Little does she know that some people don't want the world to change, and neither does that newcomer next door.
Btw, this is set in a society of which everyone, except criminals and babies, are expected to wear masks. More shall be explained later on in this book.
