in the human world there lives a girl, Lauren Wright, she loves to read books and watch tv. She always wished to be like the characters in her favourite stories, because she thinks that her appearance isn't beautiful at all. She knew it would never happen.... until one day when she finds herself in someone else's room.... she had become an anime boy.
In the anime world there lives a boy, Yuuko Akamari, he is obsessed with aliens. He once said "I'm going to meet an alien." No one believed him, but it happened. He's best friends with a boy named Kotarou Sukode , but once the incident happens, their relationship changes.
(Basically a human girl in the "reality" universe and a cartoon boy in the "anime" universe switch minds and live in each-others bodies for a while.)
