"You pick him all the time!" He yelled at me.
"Can we choose who we love?!" I yelled back.

Reveka Brooks has been in love with her best friend, Sam Carter, for years now. She finally thinks he feels the same way because of an incident between them, but everything goes downhill when he does not remember.

"About last night..." I trailed off, hoping he'd know what I was talking about so I won't have to say it myself.
His brows creased in confusion. "What about last night?"
He doesn't remember then. "Nothing," I said hastily.
I wouldn't want to complicate things. He's my best friend, after all.

She's pretty sure of what she feels for Sam, but Eddie comes back and causes her to feel doubt about what she really feels for who. And on top of that, her friend, Ella, is also back, and Sam sees Ella as more than a friend, which pretty much complicates things.

Reveka needs to sort things out before her time runs out, and they aren't as patient as she hopes.

*SLOWLY BEING EDITED* Zane had a special mission to accomplish. No one could find out that he's undercover. No one. But with those hazel eyes and her smart mouth he couldn't stay away from her. She was making him feel things he never knew it was possible. Yet bringing her into his world was dangerous especially because of her sudden connection to his case. Katherine has a baggage full of insecurities and trust issues. She never had an official boyfriend and being 24 that's socially unacceptable. The danger those grey eyes emit should scare her away. He was trouble and she knew that but she couldn't help it. The attraction she feels towards him is scaring her. Is it worth taking the risk? ........ "Can you cook?" "I can" "Good, what about laundry and cleaning?" I nodded. "Fuck Angel, you're like the perfect woman and you still want me to be your friend" He joked and found myself laughing. "Because I am the perfect housewife?" I asked arching an eyebrow. "No, because you are the perfect combination of smart, beautiful, and skillful." I blushed at that and I wanted to look away but one of his hands stopped me and turned my face towards him. "Get used to hearing compliments because you're going to hear them often in the future. Now, about my offer..." He gave me an expectant look. I thought for a while. I still wasn't sure it was a good idea but I liked working at the shop and still wanted to work there for a little while. "Alright, let's do it," I said. "Now? Here? Damn Angel, first the fiancé thing, and now this. For someone inexperienced, you sure move fast" He joked and I laughed. *Warning ⚠️* Strong language, triggering topics such as body shaming, depression...

The Ride Home

26 parts Complete

'You hurt me, And I hurt you. We are forever even.' /// 'So why are you talking to me again?' 'Switch up the scenery,' he replied shortly. I frowned and took a small bite of my ice cream. Only a week ago I was crying in his arms with bruised knuckles at a bus stop. I had decided that would be the last time we would ever even be together. I had thought that it would turn into an embarrassing memory that I would always associate with his name. Yet here we were. He was sitting across from me with tinted lips from stained ice-cream. And this very moment caused me to wonder what more would come from that memory. I was a firm believer in avoiding violence. This is ironic since I was the one who punched a girl. But the more I thought about it and the more I took in Blake's presence sitting across from me, the more I came to the conclusion that maybe something good came from it. And to think, this entire thing was sprouted from one ride home. ~ ~ ~ WARNING: -This book contains profanity -It also has sexual dialogue and very suggested sexual scenes so it may get a lil frisky ~I have already pre-written most of this book so updates should be fairly quick
