When she learns that she is betrothed to Prince Bill, she thinks her life couldn't get any worse. She doesn't want to get married to someone she doesn't know! But she can make a new friend, or maybe even more than that with his sister. 

How could they work a relationship, considering society looks down on two girls together? And then there's the issue that Lydia is engaged to Bill. How could it ever work?
