Everyone in Crymson knows the woods aren't safe. Deadly creatures roam, making a meal out of any human that enters. But Rhyder isn't a human. At least, she's not just a human. She is a Scarlet Sister, one of many women with the ability to kill the monsters that roam the kingdom. When her grandmother's home is threatened, Rhyder returns to face off against the monster within the walls.

This is a short story for a Fairytale contest. Retelling Little Red Riding Hood, this one-chapter story is one I might expand upon in the future, but for now it is considered complete.
