Warning: This is a prequel to what is currently a nine part book series. I suggest you read those or at least the part in "Protect Her" titled "OC Info" for some of this to make sense.

What exactly did Ana Voight go through in the aftermath of Andrew Darden's death that nearly broke her?

What "massive mistake" was Hank referring to in "Say Her Real Name?"

On top of that, there's a few people that don't exactly like how 51 operates. But if they want Wallace Boden's Firehouse, they're gonna have to get through his Captain first.

And to do that, they just might have to Fight Her.

Bethany 'Beth' Halstead, the younger sister of Jay and Will and has a very close relationship with both of their brothers. Beth is known to be the female version of Jay, as both are stubborn but also like to have a laugh. At the age of 18, Beth joined the police academy and became best friends with Adam Ruzek on the first day. At the age of 21 she moved to intelligence after sitting her detective exam. Now that she's in intelligence, she's been partnered with her brother, but Voight is now thinking that was a bad move because of one laughs it sets the other on off. During one shift her and Jay are asked to go over to Firehouse 51 about a recent arson they attended when certain firefighter named Blake Gallo catches her eye. What will Jay and Will think about their sister Beth dating a firefighter? Find out more in FIGHTING STRONG
