It follows the story of a high school boy (no relation to Shinji or main characters at all) who has just been killed off by the instrumentality project, because of this his soul has been donated to the Gates of Guf for a second chance. The founding fathers of the galaxy send him to an alternate world with the ability to summon and control the 18 different angels from the series.
