Five years after a devastating war, the world was still in shambles. Those lucky enough to survive weren't prepared for what came next. Radiation infected the earth, creating a kind of zombie far worse than anyone could have imagined. But for some, the radiation had the inverse effect; certain individuals gained special abilities unlike the world had ever seen. Some saw this as an injustice that only so few gained these abilities, sparking new levels of ideological prejudice and warring. Eden, a fragile girl, who was given a strong and deadly gift, must overcome her fears and her past to save the ones she loves.

The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry. Which is hard for her considering she never was able to be around people. Shes not a people person. Shes a closed off, strong willed, lone wolf. Shes needs to learn how to survive with the dead walking around. Will she be able to survive with the new people she's going to meet? The Darkmist: Death By Choice

A carfree blind girl named Maliezza, who is a walking contradiction. Her group of friends, each with a unique power that they honed while being raised in an orphanage. Dokusei, a charming, yet cocky mercenary who supplies the gang with weapons and escorts them on missions. Additionally, there are a number of dark, powerful figures known as Reapers who have ascended to a higher level of power due to having a hefty kill count. All odds appear to be against Rex and his squad. Can he defeat the military? Will Lever leave the military and fight for the other side? Can the effects of Dark Mist be reversed?Concluida

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent?
