"You're in hell, you dirty sinner." His words pierced through my heart like a knife. 'Hell' and 'sinner,' those two words made me sick to the stomach. I felt like throwing up. In this world, there is the land of the living, heaven, and hell. We are born and throughout our lifetime on the land of the living, we make choices that will determine where our souls will go once our time is up. In heaven, you will be faced with a judgement with God himself. After that your soul will be reborn into a new body with no memory of your previous life. In hell, you will come face to face with Satan, the devil himself, and he will place you in one of the three floors of hell. The greater your sins the deeper you'll go and the more severe the punishment will be. You are to stay there until you've served out your sentence. Although the three floors are quite different, once you enter hell, the only memories that will remain with you are unhappy and those of your sins. Merula is to be sent to the third and deepest floor in hell. But unlike others, Satan offers her a deal to become a grim reaper in place of being sentenced to her punishment. After taking him up on the deal, Merula gets sent back to the land of the living and encounters two guys. The first person is Asher, a boy who is on the brink of death, who seemed like he knew her during her lifetime. The second person is Gabriel, a complete stranger who offers her help without any suspicion. A story of a grim reaper whose path had intertwined with two pure souls. What kind of fate is awaiting her?

She says demons haunt the night, inflecting everything in their path. But where I come from demons don't just lurk around the shadows. They breed in your head. Feasting on your soul until you cease to exist. And, mine just woke up infested in wicked lies. Till death do us apart, little soul. BOOK 2: Girls like them are expected to dance to the tune of evil. To smile with the taste of souls in their veins and vengeance in their hearts. To feed the ghosts and the monsters within them. Discarded by the world and hidden in a maze of twisted creatures, I'm barely holding into my sanity, trapped between the past and the present. Between good and evil. Until one day I no longer recognize myself or them. He says he can see beyond the evil that I am. But it's not him that my madness prevails for or HIM. Because I'm starting to hear their tune, dancing to destruction and chaos. BOOK 3: There's a reason buried things should always stay buried. Like my mistakes. Your past. Now the grave is open and corpses are crawling out. Corpses inflicted with lies and betrayals. Corpses that you pull the strings of, corpses that even Hell is afraid to take. But even death has a shadow to lose.
