In Roisin's world, rain is both the people's saviour and doom. It absorbs their grief, their fear, even their dreams. But, as all things do, it comes with consequences. With one touch, one single raindrop, Roisin could take in that fear and grief. In this world, touching the rain is dangerous, and taboo.
But when her best friend leaves with no goodbye, and someone she thought she'd have forever falls violently ill, she has a dream. A dream that could give her the answers to everything she seeks, that could repair her once perfect life. 
A dream that disappears. And that can only be found by doing what everyone has always warned her against.
