"Erie, may I introduce you to my newest helper," Matthew smiled at me.
I smiled back. "Hey motor boy!" I called out as we rounded a corner.
I froze and stared blankly at the muscular back that was facing me. What was he doing here? I debated on running out of there screaming, better not. I moved to put my mask back on but it was too late. King was already turning around and wiping his dirty hands on his white shirt.
"Hey, nice to meet you..." he said as he stuck his hand out for me to shake. His steel-grey eyes finally met my blue ones. "Valerie?"
