For generations, the world has remained divided from an age old war that no-one alive remembers anymore except through rumours and myths. Muna of Firar is Havardur and Hrafn for Queen Morrigan, she does not listen to the stories, but she knows magic destroyed a lot of the land. Muna's twin brother; Hrókr discovers a desolate land that used to be the Kingdom Hela. Hela is no longer empty, in its ruins are Draugr; undead creatures in the thousands. Creatures of horror and nightmares that shouldn't exist. 

Fearful for her family and friends, Muna leaves to go to Aesir, a land not ruled by a monarchy, but a council of Elves and persuade them to provide help and protection from Hela. Muna's journey takes her to different Kingdom's and territories learning secrets and things of not just her past but Hela's too.
