Mature
Detective James Baron became an outlaw after asking the wrong questions. After four years of running on land, he finds a new opportunity in becoming a pirate. The old man at the ship's helm tells tales of a sea of mysteries; the Terminus. Intrigued and left without any other options, James sets out, bringing with him the five people who did not disembark.

On his journey across the ocean, he grows stronger, builds the trust and size of his crew, and discovers that his world is full of magic, chaos, superpowers, monsters, advanced technology, and more. As he endeavours to solve as many mysteries that present themselves, he learns to appreciate the thrill of adventure and the unpredictable nature of life.

(I might be changing the description in Parts I and II to differentiate them better, but not right now).

Part II focusses on the crew's journey within the Terminus.

Venture to Uncertainty (#1) by tarishannon18

It's a deadly plan, and it goes like this: First, become a crew member of the Avourienne, a pirate ship notorious for its charismatic captain and wicked ways. Second, trick the ship's cunning strategist, famous for winning every game she's ever played, into believing a delicately spun lie. Third, get close enough to their tyrant king to put a knife through him. Deadly doesn't quite describe such a plan. In fact, inconceivable may be the better word. But Archer Kingsley has a knack for such things, and he feels he's going to pull off this plan with the ease he does most everything. Perhaps he's not quite aware of the absolute hell that's about to break loose, but truthfully, it's so much better that way. Because true adventures are born from uncertainty. * Cover by xxsoteria Mature themes you may encounter in this book: - harsh language (it's a pirate book) - violence (it's a pirate book) - sexual implications (it's a PIRATE book) However, this story does not violate any of Wattpad's mature guidelines and therefore is not marked as such. The Sole Prince by cheddarandcheese
37 parts Complete Mature
[ Only the ocean can bring a prince and a pirate together, only the sea can keep their secrets, and only the waves can tear them apart. ] [ COMPLETED - 80K Words] [ LGBT Historical Romance ] [ FEATURED ] James Serrio is supposed to be a prince, not a prisoner rotting away in the bottom of a pirate ship. His future was royalty, not death in a grimy hunk of wood, but it seems that fate had a different plan. Just when things couldn't seem to get worse, another ship attacks, and James is starting his prisoner journey all over again. But these new pirates are different, to say the least, especially Sage Morrow, the captain, with his black coat, gold buttons, sharp jawline, and steel-blue eyes. There's something about the captain that reminds James of a fire on a cold day. And, there's something about the new prisoner that reminds Sage of home. But there are more important things for James to focus on than a man, like the fact he's somewhere on the vast ocean, in a ship full of hungry pirates, with nothing more than a necklace and a quick brain to call his own. The Sole Prince is the story of James Serrio and Sage Morrow, and their consequential fate after running into each other smack dab in the middle of nowhere.
