Maddy wasn't the type of girl who liked commitment or staying at one place. Her parents were divorced with her moving between the both of them whenever she felt like it. After her mother told her to stay at her father's for a complete week, she meets the talkative, cheerful Riley who happens to be her neighbour.
The two girls were complete opposites. One was so gloomy while the other was the most positive person to step foot on the planet. Their first meeting was a bit rocky. Maddy's first reaction to Riley was to stay completely away from her. However, things don't go according to plan when Riley jumps to Maddy's balcony and catches her watching a reality show about falling in love.
Riley persuades Maddy to help her do an experiment to figure out if falling in love is as easy as they make it look on reality shows.
So, is it possible to fall in love in five days?
