Anakin Skywalker never knew why he always saw a strange girl in his dreams - one he couldn't interact with. He was only a spectator in these dreams, forced to watch as the girl grew up as he did. He was good at watching. He watched as she slowly turned from a happy, active, passionate girl to a quiet and reserved woman. He watched as her cheeks turned pale, and then flushed with a redness that never seemed to disappear. He watched as the light slowly left her eyes, and she slept her days away with a never-ending fatigue that seemed to consume her. And he watched as she cried herself to sleep from the pain. He couldn't do it - he couldn't just watch anymore. He had to take action, the sooner the better. Something was wrong with the girl and he wasn't going to stand on the sidelines as a mere observer anymore. He would save Havena Jinn if it was the last thing he did. (a/n: T/W - Mentions of Covid-19 pandemic, long covid, and resulting chronic illness. The OC/reader is chronically ill in this story. I have been dealing with my own chronic illness and will be writing based off of those experiences, thoughts, and frustrations.
