Hades is pissed. Hecate not only has a pet world but there are ghosts there that he has been looking for CENTURIES. He had to send someone to clean it up. Nico, his only demigod son, is the obvious choice. And while he's there he better make allies so there won't be a split like the Romans!
Nico was upset, he just got out of the second giant war to be told he had to go on a mission for his father. AND apparently, it was a year-long one too, AND he didn't get a prophecy, AND he couldn't bring anyone to help. Now try to tell that to Will Solace, his overprotective best friend and crush.
Harry Potter was returning for his 8th year since he couldn't do his 7th year. He was going to skip, but Hermione and Ron were going (Ron because his mum told him to and Hermione because she's Hermione).
What happens when ghosts not only start disappearing but seem terrified of something? Or someone. And how does a mysterious transfer student fit into this?

[2] Diverging Paths: Perseus Jackson, also known as Percy, left his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry feeling happy and confident that he had actual friends. However, that was before they seemed to forget all about him. He at least had his brother, Harry Potter, but he too had gotten no letters from their friends. Then one day a small creature wearing a pillowcase showed up in their shared bedroom and told them that they absolutely, positively could not go back to school under any circumstance. Of course, the small creature wearing a pillowcase was resolutely ignored and they went back to school to start their second year anyway. Then things started to go wonky, what with all the strange voices and massive spiders. But then things got even stranger. It was a couple years after the Battle of Hogwarts. A lot of people were finally getting over their shock of the war. Well, most. There were still plenty of people who were still grieving their friends or family's or people they just knew's death. George, for instance, hasn't told or did a prank in months after his twins death. They were practically two puzzle pieces, and if put together, the best prank combo ever. Also, Harry was devastated when Remus and Tonks died, he tried not to show it though. He didn't want people giving him sympathetic looks and what not. Remus was the one who taught him the patronus charm and saved his life countless of times. And Tonks always shifted her form to a pig or something and made him laugh. There were also loads of other people who were grieving also and Hecate was getting worried. You see, Hecate gave four mortals the ability to use magic, but threw magic sticks instead. They soon after made a magical school to teach young witches and wizards to use magic. Centuries gone by and the story of how they got there magical powers twisted and turned until Hecate was out of the picture. Now Hogwarts and many other institutes around the world are basically Hecate's pet world. Anyways, the one person who Hecate know that has gone through the most heartbreak, trauma, and betrayal and that is still sane is... Nico Di Angelo. He will know how to sympathize for these wizards and help them cope. But will the young masters like him? Will they be scared of him? Or will they think he is one of the best teachers at Hogwarts?
