Ever since I was a little girl, I'd watch those of age walk off into the woods. Each one of them wearing the finest of silks, adorned with jewels hoping to please the moon goddess. After participating in the ceremony, I too, had been chosen by someone I always longed to see. After the death of my father answers are now being revealed, and fear I will be unable to accept them. With weird sighting of creatures around the compound and the death of babies in the village, I find myself searching for answers as red roses begin to appear with the bodies. Whoever this is, they know what they want, and I won't let them have it. This is a sequel to The Chosen.
