It had been a year since Ziva had left NCIS. Tony went looking for her, and he actually found her, but she didn't come back with him. The desk was still empty but the director wanted to fill it.

The team wanted to keep their hopes up that she would eventually come back. Like the time when she got trapped in Africa, she came back to NCIS. It just hadn't taken this long.

What will the team do? Will they find a new person to fill Ziva's place or will they give it a second try in getting her back, or both??????
