This is definitely a crack fic lol

When a catastrophic event at Sonic's New Year's Eve party causes reality as Mobians know it to buckle, they're dumped into a typical high school role play setting where nobody but Shadow can remember what happened, or who he is. He has to work to figure out a way to return Mobius to normal, while ships come true all around him as well as betrayal and a war between two halves of the school. Just as things seem unable to get any worse, Shadow discovers that someone is killing off students one by one. Who and what caused this, and how the hell is he supposed to fix it?

There are a lot of implied ships in this but said ships are practically irrelevant to the story and they're all either one-sided or completely in the background.All Rights Reserved

But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out.
