Aria Gilbert is Elena and Jeremy's adoptive sisters. She was found on the porch of their door when Miranda and Grayson Gilbert took her and raised her as one of their own.
As the supernatural world starts creeping in on them, the sisters find out what they are. Aria a banshee/werewolf and Elena a doppelgänger.
After their parents died (Aria's adoptive parent) aria started becoming depressed and slightly suicidal.
When Klaus Mikaelson comes to town to kill the doppelgänger to become a hybrid and make more of his kind he didn't expect falling in love with Aria.
Aria tried to not feel the same way but there is just something there that she cannot ignore and end up falling in love with the hybrid also.
Will Aria be Klaus' redemption? Will he change to be with her? Or is he broken beyond repair?
Will Klaus help her with her depression? Will he fix her? Or is she too broken to be helped?
