The Blue Queen's Revenge

As long as Brant has been alive, fire elves and river elves have been at war. Their one glimpse of peace, during the short months of Queen Marie's reign, ended with her violent murder at a river elf's hands. Brant, Marie's son, makes the harrowing journey to the river elves' capital to petition peace from the Blue Queen herself. But when Queen Darya proposes that she will only make an alliance with Brant if he'll have dinner with his mother's killer, Brant begins to question the possibility of peace.
