The Harry Potter series may have ended following the final battle at Hogwarts. But, have you ever wondered what happened in the time between the battle and the various characters sending their kids off to Hogwarts? I wanted to make this story so that I could hopefully aid in your guys' imagination of what may have happened after the battle, and how life played out for the characters, mainly Draco. I'm not the biggest Drarry shipper, so I'm keeping their relationship platonic (for the most part), but mainly I just wanted their friendship to be a big concept, as well as show Draco's redemption arc in a more definitive way because the original series didn't give him the arc he deserved. Hopefully, I'll be able to write a new chapter every week :) Enjoy! (P.S. feel free to criticize me and give me new ideas, I'd be happy to incorporate them into the story)

Ron and Harry, getting ready to finish their Seventh Year and become Aurors, like they planned. After Hermione turns down Ron, for feeling wrong about being with him, she feels alone. Scared. Out of sorts. But she isn't the only one. Draco Malfoy sits at the other end of the Great Hall, by himself, surrounded by the other Slytherins, all avoiding him except for Theo Nott, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson. The other death eaters. But Malfoy doesn't seem to notice, too busy staring into nothingness, with grief. Hermione cannot help but stare at the poor boy who everyone hates. Who she hates. But she doesn't feel that way when she's looking at him. All of a sudden she realizes his composure has broken, staring back at her.~ Will she invite in the enemy of her childhood? I know this is maybe gonna be a Granger reunion similar to others but it's a little different. Before at hogwarts Hermione had two brothers: Frank and Luke. They died in the war. They where her twin brothers. And my Hermione can wand less magic and is really good at it. And she has a nickname: Private. Don't know why but I felt like it. And they all talk Spanish. Just something I wanted to throw in. And Draco and Hermione had been friends since 2nd grade because in my head that's when Hermione and her brothers came to Hogwarts. They had moved back to England because when Hermione was 9 they moved to America. And Hermione hadn't come back without scratches. She was good at Quiddich or however you spell it.
