Blades of Fate: Book 1

In a world where magic and energy flourished among the human race, the forces of good and evil always balanced out one another to maintain a balance throughout the world. Stories were spread through the world of legendary heroes who would snuff out the forces of evil and bring forth justice, but little did anyone in this world know that those stories merely scratched the surface of the true legends. At the beginning of time, the gods of light and the god of darkness were tasked with establishing life that would flourish. Though they worked to achieve the same goal, their ideals and conflict spread across their civilizations, thus splitting people and their beliefs. At the beginning of time before the Gods left this world, when the forces of Good and Evil waged war against one another, two swords were born and fated to clash against one another until one or the either was defeated. Generations waged war, until finally humanity of both sides had gained enough knowledge and intelligence to realize that war would only further extinguish their numbers, thus resulting in peace treaties and proper societies being formed. However, the God of darkness grew greedy and wished to turn this world into a dark and cruel one, using the dark blade that cut down and destroyed entire generations. The only way to prevent this, the God of light must choose a hero of fate who must stop the god of Darkness, before the world falls into chaos once more.
