Mossclan's Beginnings

The first story in the Warriors of Star Mount saga.

Root and his brother were living a simple, quiet life in the woods just beyond the twoleg place, until a strange tom comes with tales of the clans. Root then has a strange and vivid dream that his deceased mother visited him with a message, to find those who will follow, and lead them to the clans.

A part of him wants to do as she says, but another part of him has doubts. His brother believes in him, and it seems that for the most part, those who choose to follow him do too, but did he really receive a message from his mother, or was it all just a dream?

Their first challenge is to make it to the other clans, but the struggles of Rootstar, and his newly formed Mossclan don't end there. Leading a newborn clan is no easy task, whether a cat believes in himself or not.
