However, their joyous moment was abruptly cut short when they faced the first chaos. Within moments, everything turned into a part of a horrific plague, where they desperately attempted to get out of the situation, thinking it was like any other Zombie apocalypse they've seen on screens. But the reality turned out even more cruel and terrifying than they expected. Since it turned out to be entirely different from the word 'zombie'. In the midst of all the death and life they met another ally, who was about to become a cherished part of their group. The outbreak happened so fast. Maggie wasn't given the chance to find out what was written inside the diary. It was given to her by a man who claimed to be someone who knew who her mom was. The whole town was evacuated to a safer place. The government was trying to control the people in order to prevent them to panic. Just then, while Maggie and her dad was on the way to a safer place, they were attacked by a bunch of flesh eating people. They happened to kill and eat Maggie's dad and left her alone inside a car surrounded by flesh eating people. Maggie called Jerry, her best friend, for help. And there he was, a Knight in shining armor ready to save his damsel in distress, wishing that all of this is just a sort of fairy tale rather than a perilous nightmare.Complete

Armed with a backpack full of essentials (does portable chargers count?) and her Dad's rifle, she learns to survive with the help of new friends. A Cure goes horribly wrong, creating a zombie virus which quickly spreads across Australia. It reaches to a large friendship group and forces it to momentarily split into three. On this journey all they can rely on is, luck, skill and trust.... which most of them lack. They will have to test their extents of their friendship and when they meet and join once again, their final aim evolves from just 'surviving', to finding a cure. But in the end they're still just a group of immature teenagers with a fitting immature sense of humor. This is quite a light hearted story with a few dark moments.Complete

Travis, Darcie, Dawson, Tori, Leo, Levi, Kaylie, Hunter, and Anthony have no business knowing each other, let alone being a team. But during a zombie apocalypse, when you get desperate, you're desperate. When you're out of options, you need to do what you need to do to survive every day. Sometimes, it might not always be ideal. But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete.
