This is a place for me to just share random stories from various of my fantasy worlds to try and get a feel for writing on here. Some of them are really short, and mostly insignificant to the main plot of the book i'm writing for their respective worlds. Some are legends, folktales or stories everyone knows. Again, as I said, these are and can be pretty Random.

Tales of Wonder - Magic and Spirit Series
Short Story 1 Jack Kilver was the greatest adventurer in human history. Once he heard of a place that was so harsh that not even the terrible monsters outside the city dared not to go into it he knew he must be the first. He would accomplish the impossible Unfortunately, things never go as planned. Short Story 2 Things has been changing in the city ever since the new of Jack Kilver. Especially Emily's work, the company built by the woman who has moved humanity further in the future. She feels more devoted and passionate about her work. She just can't figure out why... Short Story 3 In a place where the trees block out all sunlight, there is a lonely building. Within this building, you'd find all manner of monsters and beasts. Sometimes, even monsters want to go where every one knows their name. Short Story 4 Lily lived a happy but simple life in her village, despite the war against the magical beasts of world still raging. When the war finally reaches the village, she expected her life to end with her family. She never expected a man to appear and offer her a deal. Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system. Any feedback is welcomed. Of course, let me know if you want more stories.Complete

Of Stones and Such
This is a living book of short stories that will grow over time. It may not all be in this first book of stories, but in follow-on tomes. These stories are all based in the universe of "Pearls of the Mother," the same universe from which the "Duncan and Lilly" stories live. Some of these stories may overlap, and some may be continuations of another, but they are all part of the same universe. I created these as part of my "World Building and Backstory" system, and I've come to love them just as much as the books. I hope you will, too. Every time a question came up while writing one story, I wrote another story to answer the question. I guess it really is true ... For in the greater realm of "Pearls of the Mother" ... each story is another Pearl, and each Pearl another story. :)Complete

I get a word from the random word generator and base a short story around that word. Or just write whatever. I'll try to update once a week on Friday's. Unless I forget, which is often sooooooooo... don't expect consistent updates. Anyways, hope you enjoy!Complete
