People see a beautiful girl with attitude issues. They don't see the scars, the epilepsy, the insecurities. Its what they don't see that's tearing her apart. She thinks she's too broken for anyone to help fix. And she sure as hell doesn't believe in love.

But when she meets Connor they get close and she thinks maybe love does exist after all.

Why do bad things happen to good people? A question that his boy is making himself more then ever this days. From the beginning we see a 17 year old boy, struggling to finish high School, filled up with insecurities, mental health issues, a toxic family home, and impossible standards to live up to. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Until now. *** Fallon Vermont thinks there is no life worth living without Riley Evans, her boyfriend of six years. He is all she has, and she is all he has.
