For years, there has been rivalry between the two biggest gangs of the Underworld. The Serpents and The Night Riders. Both gangleaders want to skin each other alive even though they have not even met.

Ruthless, cold, menacing, and heartless Valencia Crassus.
And,
Fearless, stone-hearted, lethal and frightening Maddox Villin.

So what happens when they are to meet at a ball? What happens when Maddox realizes that he is against a girl, whom he wants to take tight there on the table?
But alas, Valencia, doesn't share the same thoughts. She is incapable of feeling a thing. They call her numb. Heartless.

So what happens when she punches him in the middle of five hundred people? Something that is a clear declaration of war and all thoughts of fucking her fleet out of Maddox's mind and he swears to kill her once and for all?
