In their first summer in Gravity Falls, Mabel Pines had her moments, but to be honest she's been a bit self-centered. Her twin brother, Dipper, has done so much for her and she's hardly returned the favor.
Even after going to Gravity Falls, Mabel hasn't learned her lesson and has become more selfish then ever. She demands many things from her brother, and not once has she helped him or said thank you.
The twins are now 13 and are heading back to Gravity Falls for the summer. But when Mabel steps onto a mysterious train, she learns about who she is and how she should change.

I'm not trying to be mean, I am not a Mabel hater (well, sometimes) This is just a story for Mabel's redemption. It doesn't even have to be the Mabel from the show, it can be a Mabel from an AU. If you're not ok with that, don't read.
I would advise to watch, at least, the first two books of Infinity Train to understand most of what's going on

Four years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford return to Gravity Falls for the summer. Dipper and Wendy reconnect on a deeply personal and intimate level. Dipper and Mabel fret about their parents' upcoming divorce. Plans for the future are made: Dipper has finished high school early, and has won a scholarship to Miskatonic University, on the strength of his academic work, his granduncle Ford, and one of Ford's old colleagues and teachers at Miskatonic, Prof. Rick Sanchez. Mabel is still in high school, but has been doing advanced reading in psychology. Wendy and Dipper want to plan a future together. Mabel wants to move to Gravity Falls when she finishes university to open a craft store and counseling center.
