It's the year 1960. The cold war is heating up. Just seven years after the guns fell silent in Korea, and four years after Suez, new conflicts brew. Fidel Castro's revolution in Cuba has introduced communism closer than ever before to the land of the free. And in the far east, the Vietnamese civil war is threatening to drag America with it into destruction... And in the center of it all, Berlin, the Soviets have plans of their own.

And at home, the civil rights movement is in full swing. After years of segregation and opressesion, enough is enough. Across the nation the shouts of the opressed and the opressors can be heard. Is America truelly the land of the free?

And in November, new elections will take place as Eisenhower leaves office. Who will replace him? Kennedy? Nixon?

Or perhaps... A simple farmer from another world?

Perhaps the gods themselves will decide.

Updates on Sunday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- August 1991, a coup d'état succeeds, ousting general secretary Gorbachev from office. Anatoly Mendeleev, now the new general secretary, plans a new economic and social reform to turn around the failed perestroika. Until a catastrophe hits the entire union, leaving both the government and the population in crisis and defenseless against a possible NATO attack. As communications and defense systems are reestablished, the KGB reveals a shocking discovery to the high command: the entire Soviet territory is in the middle of a body of water, with unknown land masses and civilizations surrounding it. Anatoly, now the leader of the entire union, will have to decide between maintaining a firm stance for the interests of his nation, or acting according to what he believes is right.
