[The book is currently under high editing. Current chapter: Chapter 1] This isn't your typical business romance book you find with the sexy secretary who falls for the jaw-dropping CEO who is very serious and powerful. It doesn't start with the girl falling for the guy, blushing at his words, and sweet talking. It's about the punk girl who studies to be a Psychologist with black hair and icy blue eyes. Yes, the CEO is good looking, but that doesn't make her take a double take at him. She yells at him, ditches him, and avoids him at all costs until he gives up. But something or someone always brings them back together and someone else's child could eventually tie them both together. Chase Simmons is now the owner of Simmons Banking, a company his mother worked hard to make. Him being 25, he is too engulfed in work to even notice any female looking his way. His best friend, Ryland Collins, tries to help Chase whenever he can to meet someone, but with Chase's constant work, he never accepts them. It isn't until he meets a certain girl when they accidentally swap phones, that he can't help but try to get close to her. Madeline Annabella Hender is a typical 23-year-old punk. She had gone through hell and back for the last two years of her life, that she doesn't tolerate anyone. She only keeps in contact with her brother, Joshua, because she doesn't see any reason to talk to anyone else. So how did this punk catch the CEO's interest? With the only things she knows: sarcasm, anger, and the truth.

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. They are both dead set on making each other's lives hell, but when the story progresses they just might learn that first impressions could be deceiving. As circumstances reveal their true selves and opinions change, things could get complicated especially when suddenly feelings get involved. Who would be the first to concede? Maybe it's not that simple to forgive your archnemesis and maybe it'll result in some hilarious consequences... ** Book 1 of a two-part series (completed).High Rankings: # Funny, # Humor, # Comedy, # Romance, #Billionaire Amazing book, I adore your writing style, and I really enjoyed these characters and story -Reader Fantastic story, believably flawed characters and deft humour makes for a very engaging read, I could barely put it down to feed my children -Reader **

I, Abigail "Abby" Wilson had no choice but to find a job A.S.A.P as I was kicked out of our house when my grumpy grandmother have had enough of my jobless lazy ass just partying, shopping, and getting drunk. The last straw was when I thought that my grandmother would not be home from a cruise and decided to throw a wild pool party at our house. Just when the party was getting hot my grandmother came home furious and kicked my friends---well, some I didn't even know---out of the house including my sorry Lil ass. I begged and told her that I'd change, but she didn't listen. She said that I could only come back when I proved to her that I'd changed. Well.. To hell with that! Now, I was unwillingly here in the executive office of the CEO of Hamilton Electronics &TelCom International Corp (HETIC); Alexander Hamilton as his executive assistant. I gaped in surprise as the boss whom I'd be working with starting today, sitting impassively on his expensive leather swivel chair was no other than my ex-boyfriend Alex back in high school who just decided to disappear without telling me! What would Abby do? She'd already signed a two-year contract and she couldn't afford to pay the breach of contract as of now. Could she work with him knowing that they had a past? And what was with his attitude? It seemed like he had a secret grudge toward her that she could hardly comprehend. I guessed she had to find that out for herself.
