Mary Scott is a 16-year-old girl from a wealthy family in 18th Century London. One night, at a ball of another rich family, she has an affair with their 18-year-old son, William Harold. Afterwards, he tries to force her to repeat the experience, holding their first as a threat to ruin her above her head. In a desperate attempt to escape her one mistake, she makes another. Taking William's life. All seems to go as planned, until his handsome and curious 16-year-old brother, Thomas, begins to doubt the story of his brother's death. Soon, Thomas finds himself trying very hard to resist Mary's charm, and Mary finds herself trying very hard to keep this mystery a mystery. Just how far will she have to go to keep her dirty little secret?
