Alexander Lightwood is a first violin and first chair in Nephilim Chamber Orchestra, a world-renowned highly prestigious orchestra. Magnus Bane is hopelessly bad at the violin and definitely needs some expert help. So naturally (because this is a Malec AU and things just perfectly work out this way) Alec is assigned to teach him, and maybe get to know a little more about him along the way. *ALL CHARACTERS BELONG TO CASSANDRA CLARE* (Update: It's been a little less than a year and I despise this fic, I hope to work on a new one soon and I swear my grammar has gotten better. -James)

"She put a binding rune on the door. I can't get it open." "I'd say she doesn't want to see you." #1 in "magnus" Andina Wayland has grown up with the Lightwoods and her brother at her side. Just as she finds something that uproots all she remembers about her past, a new Shadowhunter appears with their own slew of problems. Between the conflicts of her siblings, Magnus Bane's friendship, and the fight against Valentine, how will Andy cope with everything that gets thrown her way and the overpowering need she feels to protect the ones she loves? Alec Lightwood | Magnus Bane | Andina Wayland Slow burn warning! I do not own The Mortal Instruments, Shadowhunters, nor the characters associated with the series. This story has details from both the show and the books. Season One.
