You and Kageyama used to go to Kitagawa Daiichi for middle school. Kageyama had thought his teamates were his real friends until he had met you. You both were close friends back then. You guys had the talent for amazing volleyball players, and practiced day and night. Until..it was the last day of Middle School for you both. You went to Nekoma, while Kageyama went to Karasuno. You both thought it would be the end of your friendship, but little did you two know.. You would reunite once again.

When Tobio and Shoyo's growing friendship starts to fade into a romantic state, things got worse for Shoyo at home, causing him to cut himself, having suicidal thoughts. Tobio, clueless of how much Shoyo was hurting, started to brainstorm ideas how to confess to Shoyo. Suddenly, his world shattered when Koshi Sugawara called him, saying Shoyo was about to jump off the school roof. Both of them finally cooled off and made up. Surprisingly, they made a good partner! With Kageyama's accurate toss and Hinata's intense Spike they made Karasuno rises again. But these days Kageyama felt unexpectedly bad.. His heart hurt whenever he's next to Hinata. He found himself always staring at Hinata the whole practice but he wasn't certain about his feelings and didn't know how to reassure them. After he knew from nishinoya that the feeling is called "LOVE" he was shocked and couldn't believe it.
