Given a choice to either say "I do" to an obnoxious, self-righteous man in favor of pleasing her Mother or becoming a fugitive and escaping her arranged marriage to live in the picturesque, Italian village of Pericolo, June Ives chooses the latter, however, to do so she must fake her suicide alongside her Maid of Honor, Amara Annsley's. Quince Gottesman, the (almost) lover of Amara isn't so convinced of the death, resurrecting the case on June and Amara's supposed suicide the Mother of the Bride had so inconsiderately closed, convincing a sincere Officer to search for the pair with her. Between the death of the two best friends and lingering romance in both Italy and England, the search for survival becomes the second biggest problem, especially when not everybody is exposed to be who they truly are. t.w : mentions of suicide, death, drugs and injury
